Dear Americans. I'd like to imagine the American Dream that I'll never have.
I'd like to live in a 3000sqft two storey house in a suburb in Washington state, driving a 2015 Chevy Suburban or a GMC Yukon, have a 2 kids and a loving wife, working as a Financial consultant.
I'd smoke pot legally and go to the bar every friday with my friends. I'd also be a registered Republican and will vote for Trump.
Americans, please indulge me how does it feel like to live the American dream.

What is the American Dream really like? Why do they promise this illusion on the rest of the world?

I graduated college last year. Moved 666 miles away to a new state for a killer job oppuritunity. I am saving money so when my girlfriend graduates with a degree in molecular biology she will go to grad school and live with me. I am living the dream, and it is wonderful.

There are plenty of success stories here but you are not going to hear about them from the failures that browse 4chan.
All you have to do is work a little harder than average (i.e. not be a lazy welfare nigger) and be wise with your spending until you save up. Also, higher education helps.

What most foreigners kind of fail to understand is that The American Dream has turned into something different than what it used to be. The American Dream I personally think is now mental, not physical, it's introspective. The American Dream now is just simply being able to afford to exist with still finding solace in what you love. That in itself would be a dream come true for me.

The new socialists are the biggest threat to this country. Replace "The 1%" with "The Jews" in all their articles and rants. But the 1% will just take their private jets to their private islands. This is why I voted Trump. The American Dream is still there but it's not open to enough people. Stealing from others to give to yourself through taxation is abhorrent and furthering candidates that run on those platforms is antithesis to what America is.

A fucking meme. I am not even white. People do not treat you differently if you don't act or talk like you're different. My parents were not from this country but I don't make a big deal about it, just like whites in America don't talk about their European ancestors and traditions.
People seem to forget that race relations in the US are far better than in any other country. However the ones making it worse and worse are the minorities who insist on self-segregating. They are cancer. All they ever do is point out how they are different, so of course, whites will treat them differently.

I'm not one to discriminate based on state. I think they all have their ups and downs. The big states and cities are filled with liberals but the upside is they have a lot to see and do. The smaller states don't have a lot to do, but if you enjoy the slower pace and spacious land, then there are few better places on earth. You don't have to associate with SJWs and libcucks in states like CA and NY. Yes they are filled with them but you can avoid them.
In my own personal opinion, I think Texas is based. Been living here a short while but I think it's great. Cheaper and more friendly than CA but keep in mind, I stay indoors all day and have no friends.

The state I live in it is cheaper to own a home then pay rent, has the best public education system, and has great food; but the trade off is shitty winter weather and flat agri lands. (And having half the state try to destroy all the goodness by going tea party retarded.)

Really? I live on the east coast, and in the past few years have noticed a lot of vietnamese have showed up, doing jobs in construction.
I actually prefer them to the mexicans because they speak english, they don't steal your shit, they work hard, and they have a good sense of humor and like to joke around.
