Carson claimed that he was awarded a prize for 'most honest student' when he re-took a college exam after he was told his original exam was accidentally destroy. Journalists investigated the story and it turned out it was a prank just to fuck with psychology students and he took a bogus exam for nothing. The whole concept of winning a 'most honest student' award is ridiculous, and he either believed it, or thought he could pass it off in the media as a believable story.
