I am from the year 2020, it's December 2nd, and I have terrible news. Hillary Clinton has just been re-elected in a land slide.
Even states no one expected like Kansas, Louisiana and Mississippi went blue due to the poor budget position.
As predicted the demographic changes in Texas, as well as the appeal of her running mate Senator Castro, have seen the state go blue.
Things get worst though my friends, while Trump was the Republican nominee in 2016, establishment efforts to give it to a series of alternatives including Romney, Rubio, Cruz and Ryan has seen the party spit.
Many establishment Republicans quit the party in protest of Trump, some joining the Democrats, some as independents, many forming a new party called the Conservative party. The Republican remains the second largest party, but in cases where Tea Party candidates fail to win primaries the Tea Party simply runs against the Republican party.
The right is now often split three ways and as a result the Democrats managed to win the House back in 2018, years ahead of what anyone expected.
The worst news is that DC and Puerto Rico will both be made states in time for the 2024 election, locking in Federal politics firmly in the hands of the Democrats.
Why did you let this happen /pol/? Why couldn't the conservatives just have supported Trump those 4 years ago.

The Democrats won the 2018 gubernatorial race and majorities in both state houses.
The Republican candidate even distanced himself from the party, and saw his vote split with the Conservative Party and Tea Party.

The Democrats are now truly a big tent party
after winning much of the South and Heartland he Democrat Party has a huge center-right faction as well as many Conservative Democrats.
Huntsman is now the Democratic senator from Utah and tipped to be the next Secretary of State.
But there is bad news too. There is a new left wing progressive faction who model themselves after Bernie. But they are yet to successfully pass a policy. They refuse to compromise with the other party factions and threaten to leave the party every second week.

On the timeline I was looking at, Hillary Clinton was murdered by a crazed Berniecvck supporter which meant he automatically won the democvck nomination by default and was investigated. There was conspiracy theories that it was a Trump supporter in disguise but in reality this was a person with mental health issues, and was a huge USSR sympathizer and communist. Trump supporters no longer attended rallies and the ones who did, carried concealed firearms for safety. He spoke behind bulletproof glass and did so with the same enthusiasm. However the Berniecvck openly came out as a commie, which for some reason, bolstered his support but was still crushed. No one dared wear Trump merchandise as they were murdered by commies more often than didnus. In fact the black community came together to protect each other and fellow conservatives after their candidate Cruz was lynched like a black man in the 60's.
Trump won in a landslide and Berniecvck was arrested for treason after attempting to provoke a communist revolution called the "People's Democratic Socialist Movement".
