Real gdp isnt measurable in terms of population growth- only long term gdp rate can be detected by population shifts, and we see that gdp growth occurs because more people = more govt spending = more taxes. This in turn decreases consumption, but its held constant since population increase offsets such.

In other words first world people have to have the same right to go to a third world country and set up shop using local labor and resources.
