Here's what I don't get: even if you were a pretty lazy person, in a capitalist society you could get a pretty meager job and still live rather comfortably. If you're a truck driver for instance, you can afford a small apartment and food especially if you don't live in a city.
To me that's the value of capitalism: you can live a modest, minimalist life if you want to, and if you don't want to, you can change that.

The question that you people must first answer is, "Why does Capitalism exist?"
Why did Capitalism take over the world? Was it because the people demanded capitalism? Did Capitalism spread organically and voluntarily?
Or did Capitalism spread merely because those governments which employed capitalism, became more and more powerful, because of greater and greater production and technological advancement. Which allowed them to amass huge well-armed Armies/Navies, as well as to use economic coercion to spread their influence/hegemony, to manipulate(and potentially overthrow) foreign governments.
If Capitalism has ultimately been for the benefit of absolutely anyone, that is merely a happy coincidence.
There are certainly many benefits to Capitalism, but lets remember guys, the real object of all "Capitalists", is world domination. A capitalist has no morality, he has no nation, he has no religion, he has no culture. He exists only for profit. And he will seek it everywhere, and will use any means available to him.
There has never existed a "free market capitalist economy". Because the purpose of capitalism is not for the benefit of the people, it exists for the benefit of the state. And the true mark of capitalism is less "competition", as it is "competitive-advantage". Cronyism and Capitalism are inseparable.
International/global trade requires some system of international regulation, and further, a power to enforce it. What that means is, a global economy requires global governance. The inevitable outcome of capitalism, is a one-world government.
