I take it you don't live in Portland.

We don't need more rich california faggots coming up here and buying all the property and turning the state into more of a cuck shed than it already is.
>>

Yes you do. The more Californians that move there mean a less cucked Texas.

I just paid (borrowed) $1.2m for a 3 bedroom detached home. We both make $150k+ and you'll probably have more spending money than us.

Portland is a major dump though.

Isn't Austin the only city like that over there? The rest of the state's large enough to offset them.

Here Portland's the only major city and their influence is spreading throughout the entire state. Oregon used to be mostly conservative and voted red until 20 or so years ago.
>>
>Portland
How the hell could I forget that one? When we just go ahead and ruin liberal tryhard cities, this one also has to go on the list. So now it's:

>D.C.
>Portland
>Chimpcago

What am I missing in the US? Canada is a complete lost cause, of course, but we should fix our country first.

Austin and Dallas. I technically live in a suburb of Austin but a few years ago it was rural. Then Texas survived the recession and the 6,000 acre ranch literally up the street that I would hunt on got developed.
Now I have to drive around 20 miles to hunt and train my hunting doge, and a property 3 miles up the road got purchased by a developer.

See, it's so cheap because only cucks want to live in Portland. Portland is a very cool city, but it's a city you just go and visit. Because it's fucking disgusting to live in.

Source: I live 30 minutes outside of Portland.

Fortunately, you picked a location on the west side of the river. That is good. But you're still in cuck territory, so you'll get taxed out of the ass to pay for roads that never get fixed, to house homeless people you don't give a shit about, and to pay for LGBTWTFIDKBBQ and Minority Welfare Rights, or some shit. I don't know, it's fucking retarded.

What you should do, is pull that up on google maps, and then drive five minutes down the road to the west to Beaverton, which is a glorious white suburbia location. Public transit doesn't get out there quite as often, so negroes, mehicans, and poor people don't leave their containment zone.

Find a state where land is cheap and cost of living is low. Buy a lot 15-30 minutes outside of a major city so you're not completely cut off from the Internet or civilization, build your dream home.

Between these two extremes of democratic communities stands an innumerable multitude of men almost alike, who, without being exactly either rich or poor, possess sufficient property to desire the maintenance of order, yet not enough to excite envy. Such men are the natural enemies of violent commotions; their lack of agitation keeps all beneath them and above them still and secures the balance of the fabric of society.

Not, indeed, that even these men are contented with what they have got or that they feel a natural abhorrence for a revolution in which they might share the spoil without sharing the calamity; on the contrary, they desire, with unexampled ardor, to get rich, but the difficulty is to know from whom riches can be taken. The same state of society that constantly prompts desires, restrains these desires within necessary limits; it gives men more liberty of changing, and less interest in change.

Not only are the men of democracies not naturally desirous of revolutions, but they are afraid of them. All revolutions more or less threaten the tenure of property; but most of those who live in democratic countries are possessed of property; not only do they possess property, but they live in the condition where men set the greatest store upon their property.

People in Arizona lose themselves within their sprawling criticism of literally everything, down to reality itself, rendering their local perspective useless outside of rationalizing why they can't afford to live in Scottsdale, and why they won't move out of the scorching, burning, dreadfully boring hell hole they trapped themselves in by moving there in the first place. I was born here, and originally hated the climate and wished for real winters. Now, I realize that this place has one of the most varied and perfect climates in the country. Flagstaff again is super nice for people looking for a more moderate climate.

What's the commute time like to the city centre?

Because if one wanted to live in the middle of nowhere one could find some really nice properties around here as well:

http://www.funda.nl/koop/provincie-groningen/400000-450000/

But most people prefer to live within 45 minutes (by bicycle) of their workplace.

The massive price of

>$65,000
for the 2.
Which is a staggering $58 per week repayments.

Coastal town.
Good weather.

Rent out the other side for $150 a week and live like a NEET king.

Ok I'll admit I know a guy from Scottsdale and I fucking hate him, sorry for excessive banter I just couldn't help myself with your tireless advertising when the guy I know even hates it that he lives there.
>>
>>67990026
No, I honestly prefer the northern part of the state and likely won't live here forever due to career concerns. However, politically and environmentally, AZ is probably the best state in the union for the average /pol/lack.

Also Scottsdale is overrated, not quite sure why you think so highly of it. It's upper class yeah but not terribly so.

>>67990201
Oh, I'm tired lol. 3:22 AM here. It's just a damn fine state. Also no bugs.

Conveniently, I work nights. What's your reason to be awake bub, general irresponsibility? ;) ;) By the way, who said you were a NEET? No need to be so defensive over your perceived status, irresponsible dick. Learn to bant.
>>
>>67990479
What kind of grown man gives himself a goddamn bedtime on the fucking weekend anyway? Who are you trying to impress? Got some friends in "overrated" Scottsdale by chance? You got feety pajamas with the ass flap buttoned up too?
>>
>>67984965
Those narrow British houses look so comfy though
>>
tl;dr, people from AZ are full of shit, don't move there.

Why does /pol/ hate the whitest city in America?
>>
>>67985027
Renting, or living with patents. Unless you have an income of 60k+, you will never be able to get a mortgage.

My uncle and aunt have a combined income of 50k a year and they were turned down by every single bank.

>whitest city
Portland is less white than any city in Midwest with corn fields, or cities in the Deep South with 5 different denominations of churches within 1 mile of each other. Population over 400k isn't a requirement for a "city" in America you potato nigger. Still hung over from St Patrick's day?

Conor Mcgregor even had a drink despite his recent loss. I'll still say though I like the Irish more than the Californian stock he lost to. I'd never live in California after seeing what it does to people's brains.
