I was in Volos, Mykonos, Hydra, and Athens last summer during the height of the debt crisis last year, I left the day before you guys went to vote. it was EU's fault for paying greece's debts, basically bailed out some scumbag investement firms from their bad investment. greece could have defaulted and the euro would have been fine before they got a bailout.
now the eu/germany fucked itself by buying toxic debt, they will have to spend even more if they want greece to recover and be be to repay their debts. Austerity wont work, greeks work more hours per week than germans so its not about lazyness.
What really should happen is some EU effort, forgive greek debt but make them build a giant kill kabab army, take back Constantinople and build a giant wall along the coast. Kick turkey out of nato.
