Had a religion and Politics class last semester and no joke had a very, very heated debate with the student body president (typical sjw bitch) on safespaces. She was for them, literally promoting segregation of different social groups--entirely contrary to any cuck liberal standards and I'm just sitting there with "bitch" on the tip of my tongue until the professor stops us.

My bachelors degree in Anthro taught me that social science degrees are fucking worthless, dime-a-dozen joke degrees which basically exist to give shitty people a path to a reasonably middle-class lifestyle. I didn't give a shit about my classes my senior year, drank and smoked weed and only did 1/3rd of my readings. I still made an A- average in all my major classes. I actually got As and Bs on papers I wrote sarcastically and packed with Leftist buzzwords I learned from /pol/.
After I got into an archaeology job, it taught me that oftentimes people have no idea what they actually want, and sometimes need to be protected from their own decisions. I also learned that there are some people who will always be useless wastes of space. Both of my crew chiefs and several other people on the crew would basically work for 9 months a year in archaeology, then go on welfare for the other 3 months of the year, and they had the fucking gall to go on half-hour group complaint sessions about how the unemployment office was being "so unfair" because one of them got denied welfare, because, and I quote, "They asked me why I wasn't working at the moment, like don't they get that I have a seasonal job?" It truly made me sick to my stomach to hear them talk like that, and of course all of them were voting for Bernie.

My career has made me absolutely fucking hate politicians. Most of my colleagues and fellow researchers are all libertarians or right wing and all support smaller governments and less regulation. They are very smart people and they all realize how detrimental leftism has been for the civilized world. A great example of how fucking stupid politicians are is shutting down nuclear power plants and cutting funding to space programs. Now imagine this. While most of the intelligent people over at our faculty are libertarian or identify as right-wing, the central staff of the university and management are complete liberal left-wingers. They are people that got straight about of liberal sociology faculties and were put on the payroll to tell us what to do. Instead of funding new furniture, desktops and technologies for our faculty they waste their money on charity fund raiser events and lectures by liberal hacks that charge them $50.000 for a one hour speech. Last year they housed almost 200 refugees right next to our faculty. Entire groups were hanging by the entrances and our university management refuses to hire temporary security to deal with the matter because "they are victims of war they won't harm anyone".

Another thing I should say about development and construction is you touch so many industries and businesses. A $300mm manhattan tower probably has 50 major contracts and a thousand smaller ones ranging from drywall to TV's to curtianwall to concrete to silverware that I have to negotiate. Have been a couple of things. None held my interest because I quickly realized it's just people chasing carrots and bragging about penis size. There's nothing much of worth on this world, so we assign arbitrary value to things. If there was no scarcity, there would be chaos.
Working as a house parent for a few years showed me a crystal clear picture of humanity: apathetic, self-serving, perverted, aggressive in its stupidity. I have a bachelor's in business but don't care to develop it.
I don't vote because it changes little; one government is only slightly better than another. I would take up a gun again to defend the country though (like if the chinks invaded).

But the blacks, whites, Hispanics and Asians don't really act too different. They all just want their kids to do well. It has made me more conservative though. Daycare is full of liberal bullshit. The main instructor is a total SJW, very nice woman, very liberal.

Very possible, if you mean a cognitive system capable of developing a hollistic view/model of the real world. The main argument that it could work is that there is an exponential increase of computing power. But I do not buy it, as in my point of view we do not really have the models for that. Heck, we do not even know why Neural Networks are working so well (e.g. dropout is enough for regularization).
The specialised tasks will cover more than office human workers and new applications will be found. Even the amount of human intervention needed will reduce by a bit (-> transfer learning working/enough computing power available).

Some of things that have really put me off and made me more conservative was dealing with our union. The Union Steward made a deal with our previous city manager to get a 20K a year pay raise, that was illegal and outside our set pay scale.. A war broke out between him and two other councilmembers. Now we cant reign him back in without him filing a grievance charge. 1 in 4 people in my city live below the poverty rate. Another staff member started a war against myself and two other councilmembers (its a 5 member council), filed a harrassement charge against us because we voted to install a timeclock and make them keep track of their hours.
The second issue that made me more conservative was the amount of government waste, agencies wouldnt talk to each other and as an example our county government manages the roads. They lied on a grant to fix a road, and then because they refused to work with us told "hey you are going to have to spend 100K to move our utility lines because of their oversight. They also put in a brand new railroad crossing over an old sewer line that we scheduled to replace and made us dig up this brand new railroad crossing.
In terms of Authoritarianism, I deal with illegal dumping a lot. we had a call from resident whos wife is dying of cancer, upset that the neighbor refused to pay his garbage bill and decided to dump trash in their yard. We also have standard illegal dumping on vacant lots. It makes me really mad, and that I just want to lower the hammer on these people.

Parameterized queries, it's a pretty basic thing. This easily protects you from SQL injection.
However, there's another risk, which appears when DISPLAYING user submitted data to users. You have to make sure that user input stored in the db is sanitized at some point before being displayed, because a user could for example submit code as their profile description. Then some user goes to your website and views the profile, and the code runs on their browser, redirecting them to another site or something. XSS risk.

I know that SQL injection is a problem but I've thought that my query idea is somehow enforcing this problem. Even if data is parameterized you can still put anything you want in that field? It would be much safer to do dropdown fields or radio boxes, but it would completely kill usability.
