Hey /pol/, I'm a Bernie supporter. I voted for him in NC, but it doesn't look like he's going to make it. Now, I'm actually starting to think I might vote for Trump. I was going to abstain from voting if Hillary got the nom, but something about Trump actually makes me think he's going to bring about positive change for this country. I can honestly see myself voting for him even if Bernie somehow makes a comeback. I'm so confused.

But the fact is that if you support Bernie Sanders' positions, you are doing yourself a disservice by voting for someone who shares almost none of his positions. Hillary Clinton (although I fucking hate her) happens to be more similar to Bernie Sanders than any Republican candidate. If you actually have core values rooted in liberalism, you should vote for those values and not vote against them just because you feel like Trump might maybe not be bad for the country.

There's really no way to prove this wrong or right, so I'll just say I disagree with you. I don't think people would be content to sit around doing nothing all day, although I could be wrong.
Also, it doesn't really matter, because I'm talking about a future where a large amount of the jobs are completely automated. If there's less work that needs doing, then people are going to be sitting around with nothing to do anyway.

While I can't give you good reasons to vote for Trump, I can say that he is certainly a better alternative than Hillary. If you compare their worst deeds, Hillary has done far worse in her career than Trump has ever done. As bad as some people make Trump out as, he's never killed anyone, nor have any of his decisions killed anyone. Clinton has had a hand in the destabilization of numerous governments, including Honduras, Libya, and Syria, which have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people. That's only the tip of the ice berg. As we learn more from her leaked emails, I'm sure we will find thousands more literal skeletons in her closet.
