I never really politicized it until this thread. I still think it's kind of a futile effort. Anime's just another medium of entertainment, so it's kind of like asking if there are more left wing or right wing movie watchers. I also look at it differently because I was around when anime was very difficult to get, and I've seen very little new stuff. Back then, people mostly watched it in college clubs, so a lot of the people there were probably lefties, but politics barely ever came up.
