I know this thread has kind of veered of into some other direction but I'm going to go ahead and try to answer OP's question.
I think feminism is harmful to both men and women.
Feminism is a Marxist ideology (or at least, has its origins in Marxist thinking). Like all Marxism, it divides society into two collectives: abusers and victims.
The abuser is the one who is perceived as being in power. They do not actually have to be "in power", they just need to appear to be. They "exist" for the sake of giving victims an enemy to rally against.
The victims are poor people. Because in Marxism, everything boils down to how much money who have. The plus side to being a victim is that you are always morally right and thus, justified in everything you do.
In Socialism/Communism, the abusers are the bourgeois and the victims are the proletariat.
And in feminism, the abusers are the patriarchy (men) and the victims are the feminists (women).
In Marxism, people only exist as parts of collectives. Individuality does not exist or does not matter. Individuals - their wants, their expectations, their morals, their goals - do not matter.
Feminism does not care about any individual women. They only care about Women (or Womyn, rather). Any individual women who does not fit into the ideal of Womyn is seen as a tool of the patriarchy.
Considering modern liberals seems to have a habit of encouraging women to act like rebellious children (all this tumblr SJW nonsense) or seem to encourage white women to give themselves to black men so they can pat themselves on the back for being "progressive", implies to me that the progressive movement isn't terribly beneficial for women.
