What year do you think began the trend of everything starting to go to shit?

I go with 2008. YouTube and social media really started to take off around that time. Movies and music started REALLY sucking ass. The world got crazier with terrorism. And of course the global financial crisis.

Really went to shit again in 1941

Started to mellow out a bit through the 1960's, then we got our current pile of shit starting in the 1970's. By 2001 some more shit got piled on the fermenting shit from 1970, and since then we've just been dumping metric fuckloads of shit

We're on the cusp of violent revolutions, civil wars, and world war in the west again.

1945 was the year when the good guys lost

Does anyone have that picture showing 2007 as the year everything went to shit?

Everything went to shit in the 60s as propaganda and identity politics began to be entertained by the public and the demographics that fought WW2 became old and raised children around the idea that war sucks. The public became morbidly concerned with shit that doesn't matter, as it is now, and completely devoid of personal character.

The 70s were a culmination of this, while the 80s and 90s saw positive change as the still-deluded people became more focused on the material benefits that science started offering.

The French Revolution. We've been going down the staircase of liberalism ever since.

Clearly the Great Schism is the cause of all society's current woes, though personally I think the fall of Babylon might be contributing to it.

It wasn't one moment, so much as a series of moments that accelerated everything.

0 AD - Birth of Jesus, who becomes the first significant advocate of universalism, "...there is no longer Greek or slave, you are all one in Christ Jesus," pacifism and charity, "If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also," and embryonic feminism/denial of the right to punish women, "This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."

1789 AD - French Revolution - Further accelerated the trend towards universalism, equality and anti-racism. The aristocrats of France are murdered en masse, the mob is set loose to destroy a civilization. This has subtle as well as obvious ramifications; the very French language and cuisine even become increasingly demotic and coarse as a result of the elite class being exterminated.

1917 AD - Russian Revolution - French Revolution 2.0: Jewed edition. Jews rabble-rouse, overthrow the aristocrats, create revolutionary state the goal of which is spreading extreme egalitarianism and anti-racism around the world.

1945 AD - Nazi Germany is defeated, even mild ethnocentrism and understanding basic racial diversity in behaviour and intelligence becomes highly stigmatized (even when not accompanied by any prejudice or hatred!). The USSR takes over half of Europe, the Western nations led by the United States begin to clamp down on Western racial consciousness in a rather pathetic attempt to appeal to the brown masses of the Third World (no longer under direct European control as a result of decolonization).

Depends on what exactly?

Internet died in 2006
9/11 changed a lot
1945 laid the foundation of modern day Jewery
1960s is when the worst stuff happened though
