They'll throw this presidential election to stop Trump because they don't want him to be the head of the party. In their view, 4 years of Hillary is a small price to pay to keep Trump from running the GOP. And they're setting Cruz up to take a fall as well. Kasich is their spoiler, they're hoping Kasich gets enough delegates to stop Cruz and Trump from 1237.
