"Un vaccinatable" children with immune disorders is a red herring because since they are immuno-comprised anyway they can die from any common, unvaccinatable disease just as easily.

She opted to "vaccinate" me the old fashioned way. A friend of hers had a daughter with chicken pox so my mom set up a "play date" for us. About a week later lo and behold I had chicken pox for a few days and then was back to normal and can never contract it again (besides shingles, but the vaccine will give you that risk as well).

My grandfather used to play with mercury as a child. He kept a jar filled with the stuff in his garage for at least as long as I'd been alive. He lived to be 83, was elected mayor of my hometown for two terms in his 50s, and kept an immaculate garden.
