As /pol/ isn't a hivemind, I can't speak for everyone, but I'm hard on the stereotypical liberals because they're a bunch of insufferable cunts that love to project their issues upon everyone else and completely fail to notice or admit their own hypocrisy even if you spell it out for them in plain English a child could understand. The main reason for this is they've rooted the very core of their identity around liberal politics and beliefs, they are NOT individuals that just so happen to align the most with the liberal agenda, they ARE liberals that might be people and everyone else is a conservative or a conservative in denial because they're too stupid to realize what they really are, and thus they are the enemy.
There really is no middle ground with them, nothing but constant bickering with a desperation to grasp onto any opinion or mundane act that makes them appear as "the better person" while ultimately accomplishing nothing more than a pissing match if they're lucky, or worsening the situation if they contributed more than a wasted breath to vocalize opinions they don't honestly care for.
I really don't give a shit if someone is liberal, conservative, or whatever. Believe what you want, politics should not be a hugbox, it should be a breeding ground for conflict so we can find out what really matters and what doesn't. Unfortunately, when someone's personal identity revolves around an external concept such as a political party, no matter which party this may be, problems will always arise and nothing of any true value can possibly be accomplished.
