Obesity is widespread all over , not just in Black communities. But Blacks view food and body image different than whites. Whites are much more shamed for being over weight or over-eating. Whites historically could afford to waste food or not put much value in it. Blacks come from an upbringing of food being valuable, so when you got food you better damn eat it. White person sees a fat person they think "eww lose weight" a black person sees a fat person they think "nigga eating good'. Also high fatty fast food is cheap so poor blacks eet that.

Rich people have more time because they pay other people to do stuff that poor people do for themselves (lawn care, basic home repair, watching their kids, cook/clean dishes, etc)
Rich people work less hours than poor people
So really even if health food was easily observably cheaper than unhealthy food, unless they make cheap-fast-healthy food then it won't work.
