can't make this up. low energy was the kill shot

That's what they're trying to do over there, but no one is buying it. They're too low energy to actually succeed at it. They've taken everything so seriously and have been filled with so much anger for months, and now they're trying to flip a switch and it's just not working.

Reading the context, it looks like they're accusing /pol/ of falsely phonebanking for Bernie and scaring people from voting for him.

No, surely it's not the socialist complaining that consumers have too many choices of what to purchase failing on his own merits. Hillary Clinton, the media, the GOP, and /pol/ all conspired together to destroy him
>>
Some people came to this country fleeing socialism and this socialist thinks they will just let it happen again

Thanks. Is Sanders anywhere close to winning though? Apparently no, but your election system is confusing as hell. Are the primaries "winner takes it all"?

I generally would feel sorry for you guys... If a Socialist Jew got into the White House.

The SJW's would have practically all American values at that stage.

No.

Primaries are a mixed bag. All of the Democrat primaries are proportional, where as the Republicans are all over the place. The parties are seen as private things and play by their own rules, which is probably a legitimate cause for concern.

Bernie's done. He'd need like 59% of all delegates from here on out and, most importantly, he doesn't have a strong voter base. He's a socialist. In America. Despite reddit's viewpoint, that was never going to sell. Even for the democrats.

wat.
Does that mean that some Republican primaries are "winner takes it all" and some are percentage-based? How does that make sense? This is outrageously stupid.

Thanks for your reply though.

Doesn't matter. Mods likely deleted the comment so you won't see it.

It gets even weirder, as that was just me generalizing. The specifics can get complicated.

Take what just happened in Missouri. Trump won by less than .2% of the votes I believe. For winning, he got 12 delegates right off the bat. Also he won more counties, which matter more than actual votes, so he came away with something like 40 delegates to Cruz's 5.

And that doesn't even get into primaries vs caucuses.

Like I said though, these are contests created by the parties so they can whittle down someone to run come the general election. So, at the same time, they're also trying to figure out who's the most electable which isn't necessarily the same as the person most of the party wants.
