I'm a relatively new browser of the board but am also vastly older than most of you, and this is my two cents worth on the question:
(i) The "daily reminder that /pol/ is satire" bullshit annoys the fuck out of me. What is a person who writes that concretely claiming? That someone who says that Trump would make a far better President than anyone else in the running, or says that what is going on in Europe right now is not a "humanitarian crisis" but a state-sponsored mass Muslim invasion, has to be trolling because no one could possibly genuinely believe such things? Anyone who finds such views "too extreme to be real" in March 2016 is not just wrong but clearly delusional. On all the evidence, maybe close to half the US population sympathize with Trump, and much more than half of Europe consider Merkel to have completely lost her mind. We are living through very exciting, exhilarating times. What was a meme a year or even just six months ago - A Trump presidency, for example - now seems a sober prognosis. It might very well really be "habbening".
(ii) That said, I think it's important for the quality of the board that pressure be put on those stormbabbies who think that the "habbening" will and has to take the form of a rerun of what we see in hundred-year-old newsreels of men marching up and down in shiny jackboots and so on to take their "Juden"-blabber and go elsewhere. I am genuinely excited to see, on this board and elsewhere, a new political culture of moral health, virility and honesty emerging among young people as a reaction to the rampant sickness and madness that we see exemplified in Cuck Carl, AIDS Skrillex and co. The foundation of good, worthwhile discussion is knowledge. Following current events on local and global level, reading about history, politics, economics, philosophy and so on. Knowledge acts as a catalyst for critical thinking and analysis, without it people depend on emotion.
The more posters there are who know shit, the better the board becomes. I don't completely rule out that there might be organised effort to sabotage /pol/ but there isn't really any way to stop that, the most you can do is increase your knowledge and make good posts in the few threads that aren't throwaway garbage.
