China will just bail the North-Koreans out, they will not let the DPRK fall. Yeah, the Chineze are probably a bit pissed by the missle launch but not much will happen (as always)
>>67894726
no they wont they stopped funneling money xi is pissed at him and done.

American media sure does love sensationalising North Korea's bluffs, they pretty much give them what they want.

China is not giving in, they do not want Yanks in their seas and they especially would do anything to prevent the U.S miltary from being directly on their borders. North-Korea will not collapse due to supply shortages, it will most likely collapse due to the fragile power structure in the Kim Monarchy.

>They're doing all this for some clickbait headlines
All they want is the sanctions lifted. Both Russia and China have sanctions on them which is surprising so tensions are high

>North Korea conducted a nuclear test on Jan. 6, and on Feb. 7 it launched a rocket that the United States and its allies said employed banned ballistic missile technology. China signed on to the new U.N. sanctions against North Korea this month.
>>67895363
Yes, but we have yet to see how much the Chinese government will enforce the sanctions. As I said, the two countries cannot do without each other. The DPRK has MAJOR rare material resources and is more important to the Chinese than you think, personally I think China is just playing games for the int. media.
By the way, have some NK-pop guys

The most that will happen is China removing Fat Kim and replacing him with another Kim.
Nothing will change.
>>67895616
>another Kim.
you meant this man?

>The new sanctions threaten to ban from the global financial system anyone who does business with broad swaths of North Korea's economy, including its financial, mining and transport sectors.
If they don't follow through with the sanctions that they agreed to, then they're in for tough times as well.
China has been trying to back pedal in the last day or so though. It will be interesting to see what they end up doing.
I don't know if a happening will happen, but this seems to be the most that NK has acted out and they're under the toughest sanctions yet. It's always been a matter of time, so is the clock done ticking now?

Probably a mix of the annual military drills that the U.S. / South Korea do that piss off North korea every year around this time and also the sanctions against them. It's pretty insane, on paper it means that anyone who exports to North Korea will be fucking EMBARGOED.
