You have TEN SECONDS to explain why a country should not have universal healthcare

>Protip: you can't

>inb4 """"""""""""""""FREE"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" strawman implying it is not funded through social insurance

The money still goes from the patient to the hospitals either way, but with the government involved half of it is lost to bureaucracy.

Government should get out of healthcare completely.

Sweet, slavery is back in style!

If health care is a human right then should people who deny themselves their own right- the obese, smokers, drug and alcohol abusers, be denied the state supplied portion.

Universal Healthcare, like other socialistic policies, work only in homogenized regions of ethnic, intellectual, and economic status. In today's globalized and multi-ethnic world, socialistic policies are set to fail due to the lack of incentives since the state takes care of the population. Everyone may be safe but they are pacified to an extreme and their lives are boring, leading to more sociological degenerative activities that cause great strain on socialistic policy and economies. This eventually leads to collapse and/or the rise of populists that through violence end up purging what they have convinced the population is the cause of the problem.

Because it "free" healthcare is not free, doesn't cover 90% of meaningful procedures (yet somehow covers every irrelevant procedure that should definitely be paid out of pocket), encourage doctors in public hospitals to see patients for as little time as possible (preventing any hope of legitimate medical help, strongly diminishing the quality of healthcare beyond any reliability level), encourages absolutely massive wait times that 1- results in the deaths of many and 2- causes otherwise fixable medical issues to degenerate too far to be healed by the time any doctor can actually be seen.

You have TEN SECONDS to explain why a country that lost a conflict to emus despite having machineguns should be able to lecture another country on anything.

I can, health care is an advancement, until we make basic necessities (Food. shelter, clean water) human rights i see no point in spending money on universal health care

if it requires force on someone else its not a right.

not to mention govt institutions are always inferior in quality. why would you want healthcare to be run like the post office or public education or the VA or the DMV instead of walmart or google, or apple, etc?

and if you think european healthcare is run without problems inherent with govt institutions everywhere you're just buying into their propaganda and that of the left in America.

at least you're honest, anon.

If no one wanted to be a doctor how could you possibly enforce that human right without forcing people to be doctors therefore violating another human right by forcing people to do work they don't want to (basically slavery)?

If no one wants to give healthcare, how can healthcare be a right?

Does a father have any responsibility to provide for his children?

If I had 1,000 kids, it's society’s problem to take care of them, right?

It would not work in our nation due to our bureaucracy being corrupt as fuck (not to mention we're a nation of 330 million).
Personally I support a more free market healthcare system, I don't mind if the states wish to implement universal healthcare policies as per their 10th amendment rights though, but the federal government should never be in charge of that shit (especially after how badly they fucked up the healthcare system with Obamacare).

National healthcare is literally one of the only institutions that should be a public service in any civilised country.

In the UK we created the NHS around the time before the world wars because our people were stunted, malnourished wrecks which is all well and good until you need them to be soldiers, and then you're fucked. Your workers and soldiers need a healthcare service or your country is doomed the moment a healthier power comes to get you.

In the case of US you spend exactly the same amount as we do on an NHS but it all goes to rich insurance companies who overcharge you on purpose.

And then you defend it.

You have a fucking WELFARE SYSTEM (ROFL) to give free handouts to useless brown cunts, but not national healthcare to save white timmy the middle class boy from a fatal injury without crippling his family's honest lifestyle.

It's literally one of the biggest jewish scams in entire history, that somehow your rich elites managed to deny you the right to a doctor and at no point did you fix this problem like NEARLY EVERY OTHER CIVILISED NATION ON EARTH

For Healthcare for everyone to work you'd have to infringe on the rights of others

Positive rights are shit, you are an entitled baby.
>>
You do not have a right to what other people have earned.

Shelter is a human right.
Food is a human right.
I mean come on! It's [current year] and we have people starving to death on the streets! Prove me wrong.

what if people paid for their own healthcare
