You certainly are somewhat brainwashed if you spend a lot of time here. That is simply unavoidable, even scientists who spend their lives trying to be objective end up brainwashed by their particular environment or area of study.
I think if you limit yourself to looking at things that actually, unquestionably happened, or are happening, you can somewhat lessen the effect of ideological brainwashing but it's always going to be difficult, and it alienates you from everyone around you.
