Actually not really. Those recording of the "we will fight them on the beaches" speeches that they play in school were recorded after the war.
He originally held them at the house of parliament but it wasn't rigged for sound recording and then he read them on the radio a few days later but apparently it didn't come off well.
Not even a conspiracy you can look it up. Compare recordings of his speeches to transcripts of the originals. The recordings contain less than half of the original speech.
Things like him calling the germans a brave race has been left out.

I remember reading that in the diaries of Sir Harold Nicolson.
There were no live broadcasts from Parliament back then because you would be tipping off the enemy that Parliament was in session.

It comes about from them finding a recording of his speech made by some actor but it was just made because copying a recording was difficult in those days so they just had some actor read it anew for some records that were going to be sent to troops in the middle east as a moral boost.
The recordings you hear today was made in I think 1949 by churchill in his home somewhere.

Churchill was the one Western leader who saw and feared the rise of the communism, he implored Eisenhower to make sure the Soviets don't reach Berlin first as he predicted they would use it as a bargaining tool for years to come. Eisenhower ignored his warnings and led us to the cold war.
