A heart wrenching photo of a sad 'papaw' stood up for dinner by his grandkids is sending social media into a frenzy of derision and death threats.
Oklahoma college student Kelsey Harmon posted the photo of her sad grandfather yesterday after five of his six grandchildren failed to turn up for dinner.
"Dinner with papaw tonight…he made 12 burgers for all 6 grandkids and I'm the only one who showed. I love him," she wrote.
In the space of a day, Harmon's photo has been retweeted almost 99,000 times and has received more than 160,000 likes.
Despite one of his other grandchildren, Brock Harmon eventually making it to dinner, social media wasted no time in expressing their sadness and anger to the photo.
"What kind of monster are you? All a man wanted to do was have some burgers with his grand children. Is that too much to ask?? Wrote one user.
"Where tf were you when papaw made you those damn burgers?" said another.
Harmon was eventually forced to respond to online comments in a bid to curb her cousins' online harassment from angry Twitter users.

Mom got pregnant in HS. Dad didn't stick around. Before I go further I want to say that I agree with my moms decision and that this is probably the best way I could have turned out. So, my mom decided to leave me to be raised by my grandma. She was a teacher as the time and had the resources to raise me as she had raised both my mom and her brother. Met my Dad for the first time, that I could remember, when I was around 10. Didn't really keep in contact, but he did show up at my HS graduation. I don't really blame him too much. He was a young dumbass that knocked up a girl. It was still unmanly as fuck to walk out on me though. Consciously, I don't think I hate him. But I know that him not being around fucked me up. There were family friends that made impressions on me as I grew up, but nothing on the level that a dad would have. My moms first husband influenced me a little, but never felt like a dad. Wasn't until my early 20s that I actually found a father figure. Seems fucking weird right? Well, after a few years, I'm still not completely right, but a good amount of the damage has been undone I feel. I guess the point of my post is that your father isn't determined by blood.

Constantly working with metal he was always getting cut up, burned up, and generally worked his body quite seriously to the bone. I realized everything there, seeing him for the first time weak, totally destroyed from the toxicity of the unprocessed fluids in his body. All of the sports events he attended, all of the times he put up with me being an asshole and fucking up, the fact that he had driven me to every corner of this country to see what it offers and beyond.
These days when I visit, my mom still tells me she's, "Sorry for everything he did and that they couldn't have done better for me"
I tell her to stop blaming him, he was imperfect, but he did more for me than can be asked. I'm not perfect either, but I understand how he ended up the way he did.
The important thing is that he's alive, we're all alive, and we get to all come together at least once or twice a year. I'm not the best at calling at least once a month, but they know I love them.

Um, I don't think you know how spic families operate. They have a ton of kids and half of them are bad apples. There's usually dysfunction with one or more of the siblings involving some sort of criminal activity that makes them distant from their family.
