NY has a 20% threshold so if Cruz or Kasich don't hit 20% Trump wins all the delegates. Trump winning all of the NY delegates might be enough to mathematically eliminate Cruz. The next set of states to vote on April 26 are Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, all East Coast states Trump will dominate. If Trump has a clean sweep of these states while Cruz is mathematically eliminated, Trump is going to gain a fuck ton of momentum and can possibly squash this #NeverTrump bullshit for good, especially if the two candidates running against him don't even have a chance mathematically. People will lose hope in stopping him and fall in line.
