Back in highschool Policy was seen as the most worthless form of debate. My school didn't offer it, but the kids from other schools that did so were max cuck.
The debate itself revolves around information overload. In a "formal" (see-marxist controlled) debate, your opponent must adress every single point that you offered to them. At the final speech of a round, both teams are expected to expound on "voting points". In this, if you failed to address one of the opponents points, and they point it out, the judge has no choice (as per marxist rules) but to allot consideration to their victory.
I will go out and say that the people that do Policy usually cant hold their own in a civil argument, lay mans argument, or even give a fucking speech off of their heads.
To elaborate on a few more points of bullshit that comes with this debate
