You know what I think is really telling about this? The age of the kid. I remember the 90s-early 00s when Britain had the youngest amount of pregnant underage teenagers in Western Europe. I wasn't even a teenager myself then but I still remember thinking of the long term rather than the short term problem, ie how will these kids turn out when they're being raised by parents who are still kids themselves. I think the trend tailed off by 2005/2006, but it's no surprise that the most disrespectful kids I met were born during about 1998-2003. Firstly, let me start by saying that when I uploaded the video, I knew it would piss you guys off because it portrayed “Carl” as exactly what so many of you hate: An arrogant, stuck up liberal who thinks his opinion is superior to yours even though he can’t even defend it. After Carl went “ARE YOU SERIOUS?” He started talking about how Hitler’s rise to power depended on blaming a specific group of people and promising to eliminate them from our society. He talked about the rise of fascism when the establishment fell apart, hitler manipulating, blah blah blah. He even said some stuff about the language they use. It seems like he really did his research honestly.
So, there you have it. I don’t agree with Carl. But he DID explain his reasoning. I figured people would realize this considering the video is only 4 seconds long (not nearly enough time to explain his reasoning). So yeah. Can you please stop bullying this kid? So you have to consider increased wages but also degradation in labor prices, as long as it's at reasonable levels it should be positive.
And even then the issue of labor prices is one easily fixed in our current economic system.

The inverse of this is true in the USA. If you're poor, you're more likely to squeeze out a bunch of kids and live off of welfare being a single parent. my point is there are many millions of people that may need help one way or another, but they are not our problem and even if we felt the moral obligation to help them we obviously can not let all of them live in our countries just because their countries are shitholes. selecting a few of them and prioritizing them over others in need of help is hypocritical and doesnt really do any good.

Because majority of those people, regardless of whether they're actual terrorists, seem to be unable to adapt to 1st world conditions.
