Is this worth watching? I try to stay away from documentaries about hitler once I see Jewish names in the credits, or BBC in the title. The information about nazis is in flux and both sides are hard to prove. I know there are lies, but idk how much of it is lies. Anyone watched this have any comments?

It's fairly accurate. You have to pay attention, though, as he makes some unsupported statements (at least to my research) and just about always picks the most pro-German historical interpretations, even in on-going historical debates, like whether the poles were killing their German minority before Germany invaded or whether the poles attacked Germany before the Germans invaded, or whether Hitler purposefully spared the defeated British at Dunkirk. The first statement scant proof, the second has been called a false flag, the third used to be interpreted the way the documentary puts it, but has been challenged. At this point, unless a whole lot more info pours out of some secret archive (assuming it isn't fake), you have to weigh Hitler's ideas and NS for what they are in their purest form, disregarding the alleged injustices committed, in order to do anything productive. In this way, you don't bother rehabilitating the guy or trying to defend clearly immoral concepts, like the holocaust, and can have a logical discussion about the benefits and disadvantages of a mixed economy, racial nationalism, eugenics, state-sponsored social improvement programs, etc. I've heard Hitler called a white nationalist and a nordicist. As a WN, I don't necessarily care about conforming exactly to others' standards, but I digress. It's good to try to learn the truth about history, and i recommend recommend AH: tgsnt on that merit. Do supplement it with other research, though. Beware agendas,idealization, and outright lies. Loom at issues from many angles. Good luck.

That's what I've found with all research so far. Every documentary is all about how evil and horrible hitler and nazis were. They paint him in such a negative light, and disregard anything else horrible in history as not being as bad as the nazis. But even their own facts contradict that. That's enough to make me doubt the authenticity of any info I get about it. I don't trust it. its sad, but all research has to be taken with a grain of salt, especially when a Jew is involved. Seeing how Jews are today and their history, I understand Hitler, I see why Jews have been persecuted, and I see that ww2 was about much more than racial divide and racial superiority. Thule society bullshit, while interesting, isn't enough to convince me. Id love to actually have a conversation with a old nazi soldier. I feel if learn so much more if I had one on one talks with real life experience. I wish I knew some old nazis.

Something I don't understand is the animosity towards nazis in general and every form of white nationalism being compared to killing Jews and racial cleansing. I had family members killed in ww2, I don't automatically assume anyone fighting nazis was ultimately good, and nazis were pure evil. I don't understand this mentality at all. Hence my curiosity to find out more now that I know what nationalism really is, and what nazi actually means.

It's a definitely a good documentary. At the very least the points it raises in contrast to the common narrative make you look at things more critically in as you weight the merits of the documentary's points vs the common history given. The beginning and end are fantastic, the middle and Nuremberg trial part need to be watched with special care. The part about Germany before Hitler is mind blowing in and of itself, because it reminds me so mug of what we've accepted as normal today. Crazy to think that when you have your own country tryout can do what you want with it, that the entire world doesn't ha e to be run by globalist interests and adhere to concepts of freedom and democracy as long as they benefit said interests.
