Very small percentage of people flooding into Europe right now are Syrian refugees.
Most are young, aggressive, illiterate men from Arab and North African countries, with some black Africans as well.
Since they've come, rapes and violence has become such a problem - with women and children on the receiving end especially but also young men in some cases - that Germany and Sweden and other several other countries - very recently safe places, are no longer safe for woman or children to walk at night.
German media has been told by the government not to report on any of it, which they comply with, police are instructed not to report or prosecute anything, and all dissatisfaction and fear being expressed among Germans is being aggressively shut down and even prosecuted to prevent a shift in opinion on migrants (which has been unsuccessful).

With Germany's high educational standards for work, this will mean that the bar will have to be lowered, and there are already laws being proposed in Germany to allow the migrants to work for less than minimum wage (surprise, surprise). Working and middle class Germans of course will not be able to compete with these new temp workers, and Germany will become like America, losing its quality of life and higher wages.
So it's purely for profit? How or why would they do this to their own country, though, with all of the consequences to their own culture? Well, capitalists and investors, especially at higher levels, truly don't give a damn about culture or place or ethnicity. They are in it to make money, because they themselves can still afford to live in and enjoy little pockets of high culture that aren't being ruined by the policies they're forcing on people elsewhere.
