Conservatives have been trying for years to get the moderate vote. They seem unaware or not to care about the fact that their hard line positions on these issues are the very things that alienate moderate voters.

Healthcare has been socialized for a long time, ya dipshit.
It should be truly socialized, as in tax payer funded. Healthcare is a human right. Even animals try to keep fellow members of their species alive, sometimes even risking their own safety in the process.
