On top of that we have some really lovely tropical diseases, mosquitos everywhere, cockroachs the size of half a fist, non venomous spiders that are the size of a grown mans spread fist and scorpions.

The best land is in North Florida near Tallahassee, there's some hills and it's very lush. Thats where I would buy land if I were going to. The further South you get the land is more like grasslands and very flat and in some very shitty areas. You live in the central-southern part of the state if you don't mind the suburbs.
