Not everyone is like that, this board has a great sum of intelligent individuals from all shades of the political spectrum.
It just so happens that stupid people tend to post stupid shit more often and with less filter because they have little idea how wrong they are.
Just make good threads and add logical discourse to the board, because I guarantee you when that happens the ball starts rolling with good content again. I've seen /pol/ fall and revive itself dozens of times, it's just exceptionally bad right now because of the charged elections.

Election year means exciting things are happening and lots of outside posters have migrated to the board. Once things slow down again, the meme posters will disperse and we can take time to talk about esoteric political ideologies like ancap.
