There's nothing wrong with earning the minimum wage if you live within your means and work hard. I have many friends who work multiple jobs at minimum wage and save thousands of dollars a year and are working their way towards bigger investments because they don't eat out and don't play video games and are in it for the long game.
People shouldn't be ashamed of working low paying jobs. Being able to work is always more honorable no matter how low the pay than being dependent on welfare. I'm saying this as someone who works a minimum wage job, not an upper class "champagne socialist".
