Correct. Not enough people know this. It is not scientifically valid to believe that GMOs are inherently unsafe. If a particular GMO food is tested and found safe, then it's as safe as anything else that's tested and found safe.
However, GMOs represent an egregious abuse of the patent system. It is immoral to allow living things or living processes to be patented. For this reason, everyone has a moral obligation to boycott all GMOs.
