china does have environmental protections/agencies, but with an orwellian twist. The chinese epa is there to protect polluters, not citizens. A free market system that protects private property owners in china would offer more protection against rampant pollution than the current system in china.

The USA EPA is overzealous and has overstepped it's bounds. Clean air and water is what we need, not protection from c02 and global warming.

The issue is they are in charge of reporting their improvements; and the way they do things is, they spend their whole budget so that they can get more, because if they save money, then they can't argue for more, and may get a budget cut.

Trump didn't say he wants to get rid of the EPA, he said he wants to get rid of most of the EPA. He will keep the bare necessities that we actually need.

The only purpose the EPA serves right now is to destroying coal and coal plants, even the clean ones, making the US economically incapable of competing with nations like China who give no fucks whatsoever.

Energy is everything. If you can acquire cheap energy and achieve energy independence, you're on track to winning. Trump understands this.
>>
>>67676933
The EPA was created in response to a nasty lake fire. They were extremely effective at eliminating pollution and bodies of water catching fire, but they currently justify their existence going after enemies of the government and pointlessly destroying people's lives.

Liberals somehow think that replacing a regulated coal plant in the US with two inefficient and unregulated plants a mile across the US-Mexico border is somehow good for the environment.

it's actually a big deal and if Trump ends up doing some serious environmental fuck-ups I'd really not give a fuck what other good things he does. fucking up non-renewable things is not okay. we only started being resource whores like a century ago. now we've already predicted our resources will begin to run out in another half a century.

the environment is the bigger picture no matter what political views you have. unless someone finds a way to efficiently recreate entire environments with artificial clean air, pure water somehow, quick regrowth of healthy vegetation etc then we're fucked.

even animals are important as new species in undamaged parts of the world are the only way we fight viruses today.
