What about his policies seems impractical? His tax plan seems realistic and conducive to a healthy economy, and his health care plan seems like a relatively free market approach which is always good.
Overall he's for less government involvement which will save money, he's very tough on immigration which will likely create and free up jobs and increase wages, possibly reduce crime everywhere but at least at the border. He's self funded so there's likely to be very little lobbying going on at all.
He's very nationalist, and countries with strong nationalism have shown to produce healthy economies and societies in the past.

There's loads of lawyers in the government. Hell Hillary is one. What should really bother you, and what bothers me, is how few STEM people are in there. We see this in all western countries.
