I struggle to justify any support for the Conservatives whilst Cameron is leader. In fiscal matters, they do significantly less damage than the Labour party. But since Cameron's rise to power, they have become a soppy socially liberal party. What sort of Conservative leader would advocating for gay marriage, calling Islam a religion of peace and advocating that we remain a member of the EU despite the fact he wants to bring net migration from the 100,000's to the 10,000's? If they adopted legitimately conservative positions on social matters, it's unlikely they would actually get elected over Labour, though. Labour politicians would just espouse their usual emotion-fuelled arguments and try to make the Tories out to be a bunch of privileged bigots. Large portions of the British public are pretty much apolitical and still believe that Labour is, "for the working man". There's not enough genuine social conservatives to overcome these morons combined with left-wing faggots. Britain doesn't have a huge Christian base of supporters like America does.
