I want everyone to hear me out. It's very important.
What do Texas and Ohio have in common? Besides that Trump lost them. They were make or break states for two candidates; Cruz and Kaisch. What else do they have in common? Well for Texas, Trump never set one foot in that state to hold a rally. As for Ohio he held one rally there. Trump never aired attack ads against Cruz in Texas or Kaisch in Ohio. Funny enough he did air attack ads against Kaisch in Michigan but not Ohio.
I think Trump purposefully lost both Texas and Ohio. Because he needs both Cruz and Kaisch in the race. Trump cuts into both their base of support. Trump cuts into evangelicals that would go to Cruz and Trump cuts into moderates that would go to Kaisch. It would have been better for Trump for Rubio to continue to stay in the race but with Florida being WTA and a huge number of delegates it's not a state he can afford to lose.
Here's something to think about. The people that list Trump as their 2nd choice or would switch to Trump if their guy dropped out aren't guaranteed Trump votes. They're shaky and a big risk. These people when the saturation attacks come into their state aren't going to be committed Trump supporters. Some will still vote Trump but I think a great deal many will change their mind when the attacks on him actually come into their state.
That's just what I think. There's two new lanes in this race. The Trump lane and anti Trump lane. I'll draw a picture to visualise it. In the event of a two person race both anti Trump lanes consolidate behind one person in addition to their base of support and the remainder is divided between Trump and his opposition and the division most likely wouldn't favour Trump. It's too big of a risk.

Even if its a brokered convention the establishment will have a fight just to have anyone other than Cruz be eligible (and under 2012 rules its not a given that he would be eligible).
If Trump is at a brokered convention his delegate lead is still going to work in his favour, he is likely to only need a few dozen delegates at most to cross into his camp. At the same time the establishment is going to have a shitshow going on between Kasich, Bush and Cruz, not to mention Mittens and Rubio if they want to join in.
The establishment is only going to peruse a brokered convention if polls show a buyers remorse scenario where Trumps support collapses in late voting states and national polls. They're only going to try this if they can get away with it.
Tldr: if Trump stays pn course he will be close to a majority or close enough that it wont matter. The establishment will carry on for the rest od the month with the same bullshit Soros pulled in Chicago, and when it doesn't stick they will roll over like an obident dog. Screen it.
