When Assad wins the next election and starts rebuilding Syria with the backing of his people will USA admit they ruined a country for nothing?
>>
>>67634321
Did they admit that in Lybia's case?
>>
>>67634365
This is different though, they've said for years "Assad must go" over and over and over again. Except now they're forced to make peace with him. With Qaddafi they managed to take him out and 'won' the war.
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFK2LXxcW4E

Hezbollah dropping the tunes
>>
>>67634535
Not really. It's clear that without Assad Syria would end up like Lybia. It started getting clear in January and now it's painfully obvious. Assad has to stay in post-war Syria, even if just for his last, final term to warrant stability so the country can be rebuilt.
Lybia was a disaster. They "won" by taking out Gaddaffi, butthe country got ruined. And there was absolutely no reason to even take him out. Egypt turned around and pushed back the arab spring. The entire policy fell apart and even if they now decide it's time to bomb Assad it won't change that fact.
Especially since bombing Assad's positions means literal millions of refugees coming to Europe. Damascus and Latakia are way heavier populated than the moderate memers zones were before Russia stepped in and turned it around.
>>
>>67634833
Ot but how poland is dealing with hohol refugees?
>>
>>67635762
Not great. But it's both controlled and not a totally new thing. The amount of Ukrops coming in only marginally rose, it was rising steadily since like 2008.
Neither the previous or the current guvmint will admit it, but Yanukovych was actually beneficial for us. Now if those retards in Brussels pass the visa-free entry or Ukraine finally goes Lybia, we'll get rekt.

The establishment of an autonomous Kurdish zone in Syria was decided the moment America decided to help them in Kobane. Everyone saw this coming.

I think its just funny how you, as a Syrian, think its enjoyable how a piece of your land will get cucked away, with you, not being able to do anything about it. Yes, it might piss the Turks off, but you lose a part of your country. I guess its worth it for you, lel.

You wont. The kurds will get autonomy, on their terms, and Assad will have to simply accept it. His father would be embarrassed, but atleast the Turks will be pissed off, kek.

This is good for Syria, because kurds will support central government, because their well-being depends on territorial integrity of syria.

most of the kurds just wanted to live in peace in Turkey and maybe also some recognition of their culture...

now after pictures like this emerge many moderate kurds will become radicals´....

So how do you know they gave them a free pass?

What are the civilian deaths? 200? 300? These are extremely low, and its very obvious that Erdogan said take alot of care to not make any needless deaths. While Turkish soldiers were getting ambushed left and right just because of that hippie bullshit.

What a joke.

>and maybe also some recognition of their culture...
Another dumbfuck thing to say. Erdogan literally said that Kurds are Kurds and not Turks (which triggered the secularists). They are allowed to learn their language in the south east, and i can go on and on and on. 50 percent still votes for Erdogan.

>brute force won't solve situations like this if at least if you apply it the way (unaimed and random) Turkey does.
There is no alternative. Point.

I mean dont get me wrong, im all for establishing a Kurdistan and deporting all Kurds out of western turkey and some places in the south east (like van, antep etc etc).

I still dont know why we put up with those animals. Spending billions and billions on them and get nothing in return but a bunch of suicide bombers.

A best effort would mean an invasion in Syria and Iraq.

>they have strong bases in Iraq and Syria, plus international Support.
The only reason they have a strong one in Syria is because of the US.

The international support is usually only for Barzanis KDP who is allied with Turkey.

>You can't sweep them under the rug anymore
Yeah, because thats what Erdogan has been doing for 12 long years right? Sweeping them under the rug?

This kind of shit triggers me hard. They had the best president ever with Erdogan, giving them tons of rights. And in the end dumbfucks like you always come and go "haha turkey shot himself in the foot haha turkey cant sweep the kurds under the rug anymore!"

The only way Turkey shot himself in the foot was with Erdogan actually NOT deciding to put them under a rug anymore, and actively supporting them, starting in 2002. It was a huge mistake. And after doing all that good shit for them, we still have retards like you.

No much different than Bush for two main reasons:

Russia said the campaign in Syria will only be 3-6 months long
Russia just set up the SAA to do the dirty work while the Russians tested some of their new toys and stuff like that

(also should be noted that Russian airforce is still in Syria and will stay there and Russia equiped the SAA with some nice new toys)

Apply pressure on Assad to step down and negotiate peace.

You know how Arabs are. Once a little too confident in victory, he will stubbornly cling to power. All Arabs are sleazy and corrupt, even Assad.

Russia doesn't care personally for Assad, they just wanted to save the Syrian state from total collapse.

Can't really be traitors if they never gave their allegiance to the Assad government, now can they?

I'm surprised that so many people are surprised that the kurds run their own race instead of following Assad. It's as if they don't know that the only reason that they don't do anything about NDF enclaves is that as much as they hate Assad they hate ISIS even more.

This has been shown by the numerous confrontations between the NDF/SAA and the YPG/SDF.

They got what they wanted.

Latakia is secure, which is where Russia's strategic interest lies. Assad's position is secure, which guarantees a 'Russian-friendly' Syria. Russia will have a big say in what a future Syria will look like, they have a lot influence in both the government and the Kurds. Putin brought Russia back to the international diplomatic stage after Russia's position was increasingly isolated after Ukraine. His soldiers got some experience, new weapons were battle tested, and he showed to both friend and foe that Russia is willing and able to defend its interest overseas.

Putin got a lot for minimal investment. Pulling out at this moment, and so suddenly, is to put pressure on all parties to find a political solution to the conflict, especially the Syrian government.

If Kurds in Syria get their federal unit, what will Kurds in Iraq and Turkey get?
>>
>>67664768

It sounds more like a pre-emptive strike to me. More on the political statements made by the Kurds on federalisation.
