Rhode Island, Washington and New Mexico are proportional and have about 90 delegates. That is about 45 delegates he seems unlikely to win.
Then we get to the states with high victory thresholds for Winner-Take-Most like Utah, New York and Connecticut with a total of about 160 delegates. Let's say he gets 60% of these. That is 60 delegates out of Trump's hands.
So, out of 500 delegates in winner-take-all, Trump needs 430. So if he loses either California or any two random medium states (or three small states), he will have to go to the convention.
Most of the incoming states are Closed. Which means Trump Democrats and Trump Unaffiliated are not going to count, probably reducing his lead quite a bit from the usual.
