And the electoral college doesn't have to vote to either, if they can't decide then it is by the House of Reprepsentives. The people's vote only counts as a partial influence.

i don't think it should be changed at all. in fact, even though i don't think this is very likely, the case could be made that it could be lowered to 16 because they're allowed to join the work force at that age, and you could allow 15 year olds to vote in the primaries if they turn 16 before election day.
you can't just keep someone from voting because YOU, PERSONALLY do not think that someone has "enough experience" to be able to vote. it's a slippery slope because it then allows people to start selecting which people should be able to vote, probably due to their own preferences.
