I too would like to apologize, and explain.
You see... Ohio sucks at everything. Literally the only thing we have going here is OSU football and Cedar Point. There's nothing else. We know we suck. We can't win sport championships outside of the NCAA, the state is depressingly boring, and well, let's be honest, we're all stuck in Ohio.
So when we see somebody like is... somebody who is stuck in Ohio, trying to do something significant, we go wild even if we know they don't have a chance.
