The United States of America is unrivaled in contributions to the modern world. A select few achievements are listed below.

>Put man on the moon
>Invented the internet
>Invented machine guns
>Invented the first nuclear reactor
>Home of the best University's on the planet
>First to fly
>Home to the best TV, FIlm and Music industries
>Pioneer of fake tits and good porn

With this in mind, out of the three-hundred million Americans, why is a TV star and wife of an old president the most likely candidates for president?

Surely there are more intelligent and noble people that these two? Not bait. I just find it astonishing that the parties chose these people.
>>
>why is a tv star president hurr
>>
>>67578106
Becausw that tv star has created tons of jobs, is a nationalist, and wants a giant fucking wall.
>>
If you want a serious answer, social media has accelerated the political climate in a negative way. Movements like Black Lives Matter, while started to better things, have spiraled out of control, promoting extreme reactions on either side. Just look at the university protests. Even if you lean left, it's embarrassing. Pushing out easily digestible slogans has been more popular now than ever, and so that's why it is like it is.

all the "accomplishments" you've mentioned have largely turned out to be negatives for culture and the family

>>Tfw this dude was right
>>
>>67578650
Yeah that's probably it isn't it. What should be more sources for information has turned into more troughs to fill with shit.

I have been left all my life, but I'm sick to death of the censorship and lack of understanding of the world people have. I hate being bundled in with gender studies cunts, let alone pay for their degree.

Damn right. He should be running for office.

Why is walking on the moon something more extraordinary than the rest that i mentioned?
I think YOU are the one with the silver medal
>>
>>67580804
It's USSR beaner.

CCCP would've also been acceptable. Get out of here with your mexican acronyms.
>>
>>67581423
It's another world. It was something that people dreamed about for all of human history. It literally used to be a metaphor for doing the impossible.

All the Soviets did was fly in a glorified rocket plane slightly higher than those before. Soviets never even left LEO.
>>
>>67581662
you're right, i spelt it in spanish
my bad

Stop being polite faggot, I want to hate you.

I am happy to celebrate the achievement of sending a man on the moon.

Maybe you would have some achievements if you fuckers didn't sleep for half the day.
>>
>>67582307

We discovered America you dumbshit.
it was like walking on the moon for the time
>>
>>67582307
In fact the national day of Spanity or whatever is the 12th oct, the day WE discovered America.
Is it the day the man walked on the moon a national day in your country?
Yeah, i doubt it
>>
>>67578106
>>Invented machine guns

I wouldn't say that, really. The Gatlings were precursors to the machine gun but I think the Maxim was the first mass produced MG.
>>
I don't think an all together normal person would ever want to go through that process. It's gruelling, and nowadays it's about 80% showbiz.

If you are involved in politics, what happens is you get recruited by backers to be their representative in the race. No joe blow has the political machine, funds, and friendly media connections to even think about it.
>>
>>67580804
but they failed when it counted most - their moon rocket blew up on the launch pad.

>Surely there are more intelligent and noble people that these two?

No doubt there are. But they aren't the ones running, so I'm voting for Trump purely because he is by far the lesser of two evils. I hate that it always comes down to this every election.

I don't even like Trump really, but I literally can't disagree with any of his actual policies. Hillary, on the other hand, is a globalist crypto-jew who will only keep us going on the same downward spiral.
>>

The kingdom of Spain that it still going today

>>67583555
Yeah, and the same year we chase out the jews from Spain, it was the glorious years.
>>
>>67583107
Hiram Maxim was an American you shit.
>>
>>67583650
It's not sure. Part of Italy was part of the Spanish Empire by then btw.
And he was funded by Spanish Kings...
>>
>>67582706
>>67583002

It was an italians who discovered the american continent you just paid him. And even he didnt realized what he really found and thats the reason why its named after another italian: Amerigo Vespucci.

The landing on the Moon was one of mans greatest achievements until this day. Something we all benifit from no matter that it was the americans who did it with the help of good old nazi scientists.
>>
>>67581284
Fuck off, there are alot more good American Pornstars then japanese ones.
>>
>>67584201
Spain didnt even exist in 1492 anyway. Aragon had naples, but columbus was northern italian(genoese?)
>>
>>67584383
>>67584208

Well, all the gold went to the kingodm of Castilla and Aragon, so technically SPAIN
>>
>>67585248
The personal union didnt happen til later on, i think it was just castile.
>>
>>67585492
Isabel I queen of castilla married to Fernando II king of Aragon.
That was the union.
>>
>>67578106

No one worth a damn wants the job.

They're too busy innovating the other shit you listed.
>>
>>67585248
Which destroyed the Castilian economy because there was was so much Gold under way that it became worthless.

And again. The discovery of America cant be compared to the landing on the Moon, a tecnical and scientific marvel, unmatched until this day.
>>
>>67585832
Yeah I know that, I just wasnt sure if it was done before or after 1492

seriously though, the last generation of amazing advancements was american, the one before it was british, its just whoever is the superpower at the time, next it'll probably be the chinese if the west doesn't catch the fuck up on their fusion research
>>
Why would noble and intelligent people go into fucking politics? They are using their talents to better humanity I hope...
>>
>>67583002
its my brothers birthday, does that count?

i have a question for americans
why are you guys always so painfully polite and friendly all the time? or is that just the ones that leave the country
>>
>>67578106
Negative rights made all that possible.
Trump will protect negative rights.
The socialist dismissal of American success based on materialism has yet to explain why more government means less success.

Clinton is only popular because she's well known and has great name recognition. She is also by-far the front runner for the Dems and has been slated to win the nomination since 2012.

Trump is just fantastic at saying what he knows will get people fired up. He is great at using rhetoric to rally support. That being said, and in order to avoid hate from Trumpsters, I'm merely stating why he is so popular and leading the GOP field currently. His policies according to his website do have substance, I will not argue that.

>Pic related is the only one I have of Trump

Great, but nothing that was in any way invented. It was seen used by the natives before you slaughtered them.

Parties serve a mechanism for the elites to choose suitable puppets. Intelligent and noble people are not chosen to be politicians.
>>
>>67578106
Half of this isn't true and you're leaving out tons of great achievements. Total bait.
>>
>>67587341
Because they act totally diffeerent from the majority of US anons on /pol. Especially when they comes as tourists.
Maybe its just me but i never met the typical " USA , USA USA " tourist in Germany. Maybe because teh ones who travel to Europe have money and therefore belong to a different social class ?

>>
>>67587848
Germany you still mad because you didn't get any colony ever?
>>
>>67588567
Bismarck tried to keep us as long as possible away from that shit and for a damn good reason.
The colonies sucked more money in than out and created more problems to the home countries than necessary.

After Bismarck was gone we had colonies in Africa and Asia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_colonial_empire
>>
>>67589255
Well. we can say now that Spain is one of your actual colonies.
You take from us the most prepare engineers.
And waitress as well.
And you came here to visit our beaches and bitches.
>>
>>67578106
Yeah, I mean we had people like Rand Paul who weren't batshit crazy, so we called them batshit crazy or ignored them because it was funny to watch batshit crazy people argue at each other. Come on Brit, you invented this humor, just watch it happen and take the stick out of your ass.
>>
>>67589834
I get the engineers but waitresses ?
Maybe for the spanish restaurants here but there numbers are not that big.
Your beaches are great when you stay away from the english and other germans, although i prefer Portugal or Croatia.
>>
>>67591656
a lot of spaniards try to find a job in germany but they end up working as waitresses.
Living in NoJobLand is hard.
>>
>>67578106
One of our smartest and most intellectual presidents, Woodrow WIlson, was pretty awful.

I think intelligence doesn't necessarily indicate who would make a good president or not.

Its called learning common courtesy in first grade. You learn from a young age to be nice and respectful. It becomes ingrained in you so much that you cannot not be nice.
