In general terms, more empathy/emotion = democrat.
Also, a higher percentage of men are breadwinners and are the ones filling out the 1040 tax form seeing how much the Gov is taking from them.
Not claiming that women don't work. I'm just saying the the percentage of formal employment in the workforce is higher for males.
In a normal society, men provide and they lead the group (the group generally being the family, or the tribe).
Through government, women can force single, tax-paying men to provide for them anyway.
