My parents divorced when I was 10. I haven't seen my dad since.
Once when I was like 8 my family went on this long road trip and we stopped by the bombing memorial and he got all emotional about it and it made no sense at all to me. Now I get it. I miss my dad. My family paints this picture of him being a philistine and a monster but I don't think that's true.
