Shapiro, Fields, and several others walk out on Breitbart. They claim that any journalistic integrity is gone and that the organization has become a de facto Trump super PAC. The last straw was when Breitbart did everything in it's power to undermine their own reporter's story of physical abuse in order to protect the Trump campaign.

There was never any scandal. Ben knows there was no scandal. This was merely a move for him to "trade up" and dump Breitbart for Fox. Fox will undoubtedly pay him better, and he doesn't have to deal with trump shilling from his colleagues anymore.
