Were the eurocucks building a European Confederacy, with a established limits in federal power and a good deal of state sovereignty, like the USA was intended, it would make all the sense in the world. At the moment, the EU as a single economic block is a whole Brazil bigger than the states and has the population to defend against pretty much anything. A true, United states of Europe would be something formidable to behold.
