I'm born and raised in Sacramento, I'm glad I live here because the rest of California is a shithole. SF is retarded, north of here is basically Oregon, SoCal is basically sin and vice incarnate, and all of the small towns dotting the coast are expensive boring nightmares.
Sac is okay but it's infested with liberals. In the early 2000s Time Magazine voted it the most integrated city in America and I believe it, we have a huge population of blacks, Asians, Latinos, you name it.
We're kind of boring because we don't get AAA entertainment very often so the only thing fun to do here is get drunk at wannabe chic bars and bistros. Most hipsters make day trips to SF and just walk around because "muh culture" but I personally couldn't give less shits.
Overall Sac is pretty chill. I grew up in probably the best part of Sac (greenhaven/pocket) and enjoyed myself, there are some rough parts but it's still a great place. That being said, I'm moving out of state soon and I can't fucking wait.

I'm getting a job with the federal government that requires out of state training. After my training I'll be sent to literally anywhere in the US, including its territories, and I won't have a huge range of choice.
I'd never admit this out loud in real life but I really just want to move somewhere more white. All of my friends growing up were minorities and even now less than half of my friends are white. It took me all this time (I'm 23) to realize that multiculturalism is driving this country apart. People here don't date outside of their race because, surprise surprise, people are naturally attracted to their own race. I just want to go to a place where I feel like I'll be with my own people and my own culture because I'm certainly not getting that experience here.

But the real answer is Northern Arizona, like Prescott or Flagstaff. Not a liberal hellhole like CA (Flagstaff has a lot of hippies, but they don't ruin the whole state), but not a literal hellhole like Phoenix or Tuscon.
