What made me rich is the fact that I rode out the 2011 bubble we had in Austria. My entire family earned an assload of money in back in the 2007 bubble so the losses weren't too much of a pain in the ass. The money I made back 4-6 years ago was a substantial amount and allowed me to go NEET for around 18 months before I decided to actually work a stable job since I wanted spending money. My main choice to go to a stable income came from the fact that I got sick of speculating and didn't enjoy having my livelihood be a game of numbers.
I'm glad that I got out summer 2011 because the stock market since has been boring and poor here in Austria.

I was planning on getting into it after I finish my engineering degree though. I was already figuring I'd work my stable job and trade stocks on the side to see how much money I could make.
