Hillary will be painted as the first woman, same way Obama was the first black. Do you guys not realize this? 80 percent of my friends and family are Bernie supporters but would vote for Trump instead of Clinton.
This is how it will happen. Things have changed with the internet, and people don't vote based on status quo that Hillary is definitely the nominee. Hillary and Bernie are very close in terms of pledged delegates. After the northern and Midwest States, Bernie will be ahead.

This. And I'd add that even if Sanders did manage to do everything he wants, you at least get the smug satisfaction of watching lefties reap their rewards as America burns. You get to give the biggest 'I told you so' in history, it's preferable to watching the nation die slowly and you may just get a swing to the right in time to save it. If you can't stop the destruction you may as well accelerate it.
