Why would anyone get solar engineering degrees?
Engineering is hard for your average millenial (unbelievably). Current college graduates are 3/4 humanities and social sciences. These students already pay for college, they already have to think about how to pay back their loans and they're going into some of the publicly known least employable degrees (without an in or crazy great internship at a company). They have some odd idea that College is a self-exploring opportunity and not, say, a skill learning experience. There's nothing inherently wrong with most degrees so long as you're thinking about the long game.

Do you not understand what an Engineer is? They design things. They often design things that construct other things. They do not hand assemble each thing that is demanded for by the economy.
So unless everyone becomes an entrepreneur or even a third of all engineers produced in this prediction are entrepreneurs, not all of them will have a job because they won't necessarily be the ones designing everything.
You also assume that there are infinite wants (not necessarily true) and that each want is addressed by a single engineer (what if one superior engineer can make almost everything)
